Kogi LG polls: Voting commences in Lokoja

Voting has started in the Local Government Areas election in Kogi State. The poll which holds across the 21 LGAs is for the election of chairpersons and councillors.

Enthusiastic voters trooped out in good number at the Crowther College Polling Unit, in Ward A of Lokoja LGA. Voting started in the unit at about 8:45 am.

A number of security operatives including hunters were on ground to maintain peace and orderliness. As the time of filing this report, the exercise was peaceful.
