Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr has expressed concerns about how her fast-paced career is affecting her well-being.
The 21-year-old singer revealed that her demanding schedule is making her feel older than her years.
She shared her views during an interview with Rode in Nairobi, Kenya.
Despite being born in 2002, Ayra Starr confessed that the pressures of her artistic commitments are taking a toll on her vitality.
“I have met people who were born in the 90s and they’re so vibrant and so young. I’m old and I was just born in 2002,” she declared.
The artiste further opened up about her desire for rest amidst her hectic life.
“I want to stay home, I want to sleep,” she admitted.
She also opened up on her musical journey, “I feel like the more I make music, the more I recognise what my path is and what I’m trying to do.”
