Thirteen people died when a bus with 11 people on board collided with a Golf Salon with five passengers on Kaduna -Abuja expressway on Friday the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said/
The Sector Commander, FRSC Kabir Nadabo said the crash occurred near Olam farm on Kaduna-Abuja highway about 3p.m. when Toyota Hiace marked GTG 96YA carrying 11 persons collided with a Golf Salon marked RBC 369XE with five passengers.
He said those who died had been moved to St.Gerards Hospital, while three who survived were immediately conveyed to AP Smart Hospital, Kakuri for further treatment.
“As we enter the ember season fully, motorists are reminded on the need to adhere to basic safety ethics while travelling, “he said.
He said it was imperative to also remind motorists that excessive speeding was dangerous. He urged drivers to always maintain the requisite speed limits while on transit.
