The Mandate Movement (TMM), a prominent political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared its commitment to mobilise votes for Ondo State Governor and APC governorship candidate, Lucky Ayedatiwa, ahead of the upcoming election on November 16, 2024.
In a statement released by its Directorate of Media, TMM highlighted a recent gathering of APC progressives in Akure aimed at consolidating the party’s influence in Ondo and promoting effective governance.
“This purposeful event saw APC’s progressive elements, united under The Mandate Movement, convene in Akure to strengthen both governance and the party’s structures in the state,” the statement noted.
Described as one of the most sophisticated political movements in sub-Saharan Africa, TMM is celebrated for its unwavering loyalty to the ideals of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, regarded as its founder and guiding force since 1998.
The statement added that TMM has successfully established a durable political culture that has gained widespread acceptance in Nigeria and beyond.
The Interim State Chairman of TMM in Ondo, Adejombo Omofunmilewa, expressed the group’s commitment to canvassing votes across all regions of the state, pledging robust support for Ayedatiwa’s bid for re-election as Governor.
