A suspected hacking kingpin, Chima Anthony Nwigwe, has been arrested alongside three others identified as Effiong Victor Emmanuel, Mohammed Bello Mahmud, managing director, Downstone Ultimate Limited and Daminan Ali for alleged conspiracy, unauthorized access to banks’ computer systems and fraudulent withdrawal of depositors’ funds.
The suspected members of the notorious hacking syndicate were arrested by operatives of the EFCC in Abuja.
Dele Oyewale, Head, Media and Publicity of the EFCC announced the smashing of the syndicate in a statement released in Abuja on Tuesday.
