Jennifer Lopez electrified the crowd at Kamala Harris’s Las Vegas rally last night, calling it the “most important stage” of her life and urging Latinos and women to vote.

Speaking before Harris took the stage, Lopez emphasised the power of Latinos and women to shape the election outcome in Nevada, a critical battleground where Hispanic voters comprise a quarter of the population.

The high-profile event, featuring Lopez and Mexican band Maná, underscores the Harris campaign’s focus on energising this influential voting bloc as the election heats up.

“I believe in the power of women… women can make the difference in this election,” Lopez declared. “I believe in the power of Latinos.”

In Nevada, where Hispanic voters comprise about a quarter of the population, this demographic represents a critical voting bloc.

Harris’s team recognises this, with both Lopez and Mexican band Maná joining the event to bolster support.

Nevada, one of the seven key swing states, is expected to be decisive. Biden narrowly won here in 2020 by just 33,500 votes.
