Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has shared a personal experience he claims exposed him to the dangers of spiritual monitoring.
In a recent post on his X handle, Seyi Law revealed how he discovered that a pair of shoes gifted by a friend was allegedly being used to monitor him spiritually.
According to Seyi Law, the revelation came to him during a personal prayer vigil in 2016. As he prayed, he claimed to have received a message from God alerting him that an object in his home was being used as a tool for spiritual surveillance. “I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me,” he recounted.
Following this, his wife destroyed the shoes by burning them.
Shortly after the shoes were removed, Seyi Law’s wife became pregnant with their daughter.
Since the incident, he claims that the friend who had given him the shoes has consistently declined his invitations to visit, further deepening his suspicions about the nature of the gift.
Seyi Law advised caution regarding gifts, stating, “I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.”
He added that prior to this experience, he had been skeptical of people who said they had received God’s messages.
