Big Brother Naija reality star, Angel Smith has hinted that her relationship with her colleague, Soma, has hit the rocks.

The reality star shared a cryptic post hours after Soma’s ex-girlfriend, Hilda Dirisu, came out to accuse him of physically abusing her and attempting to rekindle their relationship despite being involved with Angel.

She insinuated that she had been unlucky with love.

According to her, she has accepted that she won’t be loved in her lifetime.

On her X handle, Angel wrote, “It is Angel always, I have already accepted that the only time I will be loved is when I actually die.”

This is coming barely a few months after BBNaija All-Stars winner, Ilebaye, announced in a viral video with Angel that she and Soma will be getting married in January next year.

It remains to be seen if the wedding will proceed as planned.

Angel Smith and Somadina Anyama started dating on the ‘All-Stars’ edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show last year.

He is well-known for his musical skills, personality, and romantic relationship with fellow resident Giftye Money.

The duo revealed that they were in relationships before coming on the show but were ready to sacrifice their relationships for each other.

Their relationship has continued to blossom even after the show despite occasional rumours of their breakup when they recently unfollowed each other on social media.

Soma also fuelled speculation of their split after he appeared to have edited the romantic message shared on his Instagram page to celebrate Angel’s birthday; yanking off “love”.

The development sparked arguments on social media platforms and also mockery towards Angel.

Reacting to the news, Angel said even if the rumours of their breakup are true, critics have no right to make a fuss about it.

She also advised trolls to mind their business, lamenting that she has been a victim of cyberbullying since 2021.

Soma Anyama was born on the 5th of May 1992. His father was a pastor and his mother was a singer. He grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

He was a housemate on Big Brother Naija’s (BBNaija) second season in 2017 when he was evicted on the 14th day. Soma made a comeback for BBNaija All-Stars in 2023. He is well-known for his musical skills, personality, and romantic relationship with fellow resident Gifty.

Angel previously dated another reality star, Sunday Okonkwo, aka Cross, during the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season in 2021 but their relationship crashed shortly after the show.
