Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Alex Unusual, has expressed anger over a viral video showing students from her alma mater, Federal Government College (FGC), Enugu, engaging in a brutal group assault on a fellow classmate.

She condemned the act as barbaric and called for severe repercussions, noting a longstanding culture of student-on-student violence in the school.

In her social media post, Alex shared her experience with similar abuse during her years at FGC Enugu, labeling 2011 and 2012 as some of the most challenging years of her life due to widespread bullying and mass beatings.

Reflecting on her experience, she said, “I can’t count how many times I had to endure people hitting me like this, but one thing is sure: I made sure nobody went through it on my watch as a senior.”

She revealed that she never participated in such actions, and if anyone could attest otherwise, they should come forward.

Alex criticized the school for what she perceives as a systemic issue, pointing out that this is not an isolated incident but a recurring problem rooted in an unaddressed tradition of retaliation and bullying among students.

She lamented that, despite reporting such incidents to authorities during her time at the school, little was done due to a culture of bribery and indifference among some staff members.

The reality star called on the Ministry of Education and relevant authorities to take action against such practices in federal and unity schools, stressing that discipline should never involve mass beatings.

She stated, “While some people see this as training or discipline, I see it as an act by heartless people.”
