The 2024 African Military Games are being organized by the Organization of Military Sports in Africa (OSMA) and the International Military Sports Council (CISM), aiming to build unity and cooperation among African military forces through sports.
This year’s opening ceremony will showcase the rich musical talents of Nigeria, with performances by artists celebrated for their contributions to major continental events.
D’banj, famously known as the Koko Master, delivered a memorable performance at the closing ceremony of the 2013 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in South Africa, where Nigeria’s Super Eagles claimed victory.
Similarly, Yemi Alade, renowned for her exciting stage presence, performed the soundtrack and opened the last AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast.
