78th birthday: What Tinubu said about Atiku

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday put his political differences with Atiku Abubakar his 2023 presidential opponent aside to send good wishes to the former Vice President on the occasion of his 78th birthday.

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday put his political differences aside to send good wishes and 78th birthday congratulatory message to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who was also his main opponent in the 2023 presidential election.

The President, in a happy birthday message contained in statement by Sunday Dare, his Special Adviser (Media & Communications) noted that the Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election has been an active player in Nigeria’s democratic process since the return to civilian rule in 1999.

Tinubu also recalled his past association with Atiku who holds the title of Wazirin Adamawa in the statement as well as their most recent political fisticuffs.
