Popular Nigerian singer Joeboy has shared insightful advice to his fans, urging them to be cautious of the unrealistic standards often propagated on social media.

The “Alcohol” hitmaker took to his social media platforms to remind Nigerians that the content they encounter online is frequently curated and manipulated, not always reflecting true life.

Joeboy stressed the importance of maintaining a critical perspective when browsing through social media, advising his followers not to measure their own lives against the seemingly perfect images and stories that often flood their feeds.

He posted: “Better don’t let social media define your standards, people lie, a lot.”
