Sen. Abdul’aziz Yari (APC-Zamfara) has called on newly recruited soldiers of the Nigerian Army to place the nation’s interest above personal considerations in the discharge of their duties.
This message was conveyed during the Passing Out Parade (POP) of the 87 Regular Recruits Intake at the Depot Nigerian Army in Zaria, Kaduna State, where 74 recruits from Yari’s constituency officially joined the military ranks.
Represented by Alhaji Sha’aya Yusuf, the Coordinator of his Constituency Office, Yari emphasized the importance of professionalism and dedication to duty. The senator noted that the recruits, drawn from six local government areas of his constituency, now have a vital role to play in addressing Nigeria’s security challenges.
“As leaders of tomorrow, you are now given the opportunity to contribute in tackling the security situation of our dear nation,” Yari said.
