The Potter’s House of Lagos is set to host “Walk for Life,” a community-focused event aimed at promoting holistic well-being through faith, wellness, and love.

The event will take place on December 14, 2024, starting at 117/119 Funsho Williams Avenue, Iponrin, Lagos, at 7:30 am.

The walk will cover a route beginning at The Potter’s House, proceeding to the National Stadium, through Costain, and back to the starting point.

In a statement signed by Committee Team Lead Olufunke Adu on Thursday, the initiative was described as a platform to inspire individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles, deepen their faith, and strengthen communal bonds.

“The ‘Walk for Life’ is more than a walk; it is a movement to encourage healthier living, build faith, and foster community connections,” Adu said.

Participants will also enjoy a variety of activities, including:

* Free Medical Check-ups: Comprehensive health assessments, including blood pressure and BMI checks.

* Dental Consultations: Oral hygiene awareness sessions.

* Eye Tests: Promoting optical health.

* Fitness Sessions: Group workout routines led by fitness experts to boost physical wellness.

Adu added, “The Walk for Life is an opportunity for us to unite, prioritise health, and celebrate our faith. It’s about creating a ripple effect that positively impacts both our lives and those around us.”

The Potter’s House of Lagos extends an open invitation to individuals, families, and groups to participate in the event, aiming to inspire strides towards better health, stronger faith, and a closer-knit community.
