Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has officially accepted the resignation of Mr. Ibrahim Kashim as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), effective immediately.
The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by Mr. Mukhtar Gidado, the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
In the statement, Gidado disclosed that Mr. Aminu Gamawa, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, has been appointed to assume the role of Acting Secretary to the State Government.
“Governor Bala Mohammed has accepted the resignation of the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Ibrahim Kashim, with immediate effect,” said Gidado. “The Chief of Staff, Government House, Bauchi, Mr. Aminu Gamawa, has been directed to take over from him in an acting capacity.”
The governor also expressed gratitude to Mr. Kashim for his service to the state, extending his well wishes for his future endeavors on behalf of the government and the people of Bauchi State.
