On April 21, 2025, widows, single mothers, orphans, and underprivileged individuals will come together to benefit from the generosity of Samuel Apata, popularly known as Ewol Samo. The US-based artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist is organizing a special Christmas outreach dedicated to supporting those in need, particularly widows, orphans and single mothers. The event will provide essential food items, clothing, and palliatives, reinforcing his ongoing commitment to charitable initiatives.
“The joy of giving is what motivated me to organize this outreach for single mothers, widows, and the less privileged,” said Ewol Samo. “Women, especially mothers, are the backbone of our communities, and they deserve to be cared for and appreciated.”
In a recent interview, Ewol Samo expressed his deep desire to give back to his community, a commitment that has grown stronger in response to rising global economic challenges. As economic pressures continue to affect vulnerable populations, he emphasized the need for private and community-led initiatives to offer relief and support.
Beyond distributing food and essential supplies, the outreach will also include free medical services, ensuring a holistic approach to well-being. Attendees will have access to health checkups and treatments for conditions such as high blood pressure, cancer screening, malaria, bacterial and fungal infections, and vision issues. Free medication will also be provided to those in need.
“We’ll be distributing cash gifts and essential food items like rice, beans, garri, yam tubers, vegetable oil, palm oil, and salt,” Ewol Samo revealed, adding that he intends to make this outreach an annual event. His goal is to establish a sustainable tradition of care that continues to uplift single mothers, widows, and others facing economic hardships.
This initiative is another powerful example of Ewol Samo’s philanthropic work. Through his contributions and personal outreach programs, he is making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable communities. The Christmas outreach is not just about providing immediate relief—it is about inspiring hope and building a long-term support network for those who need it most.
