Keystone Bank Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading financial service providers, on Friday hosted a grand dinner to celebrate and appreciate its loyal customers for their steadfast support throughout 2024.

The event, themed ‘Celebrating Partnership,’ was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, attracting notable dignitaries from across the country.

In her welcome address, the Chairman of Keystone Bank, Lady Ada Chukwudozie, expressed profound gratitude to the bank’s stakeholders, emphasising that the appreciation dinner was part of the bank’s strategy to connect with customers on a personal level while reinforcing its reputation as a trusted financial partner.

Speaking further, the Managing Director/CEO of Keystone Bank, Mr. Hassan Imam, acknowledged the contributions of the bank’s customers, stakeholders, and staff in elevating Keystone Bank’s status as a leading financial institution.

“We have developed several products that have also been approved by the CBN. Monthly account opening has increased by over 150 per cent,” he revealed.

He also highlighted the bank’s efforts under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. “Working with state governments, we set up the Keystone Bank Educational Support Initiative for the educational sector. In the first phase, we executed projects in 12 states: Lagos, Zamfara, Ekiti, Anambra, Katsina, Kaduna, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Kano, Benue, and Borno states.”

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, commended Keystone Bank for its impactful CSR initiatives in their respective states.

Governor Lawal, in particular, praised Keystone Bank as the first financial institution to visit Zamfara State and execute meaningful CSR projects.

Both leaders lauded the visionary leadership of the bank’s CEO, Mr. Hassan Imam, for driving the institution’s remarkable transformation and reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration with the bank.

The event also drew a host of dignitaries, including Benue State Deputy Governor, Dr. Samuel Ode; former Governor of Sokoto, Senator Aminu Tambuwal; former Deputy Governor of Kano, Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna; and Labour Party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

Others present were the Emir of Zazzau, Mal. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli; Senator Iyiola Omisore; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce; Senator Abdullahi Gumel; Polaris Bank CEO, Omokayode Lawal; former Inspector-General of Police, MD Abubakar; Alh. Isiyaku Abdullahi, Executive Vice President (Downstream) at Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited; former NEMA DG, Alh. Sani Sidi; former Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho; Chief (Barr.) Uju Ifejika; Chisco Transport CEO, Dr. Chidi Anyaegbu, and many others.

The dinner served as a testament to Keystone Bank’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and delivering value to its stakeholders.
