Renowned Nigerian highlife singer, Chinedu Okoye, popularly known as Flavour, has shared secrets into his disciplined approach to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Flavour made the revelations during a debut podcast session with former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, on Tuesday.
The ‘Big Baller’ crooner attributed his impressive physique to a combination of strategic eating habits and rigorous exercise routines.
“I don’t eat in the morning; I drink herbal tea and eat at about 5 pm. I also don’t eat swallow and consume minimal carbs. For physical fitness, I work out for two hours every day,” Flavour disclosed.
Despite being an Igbo man, Flavour said he abstains from traditional staples like ‘swallow’ and focuses on a diet low in carbohydrates.
His daily routine starts with homemade herbal tea, followed by a single meal in the evening.
When asked by Chidoka if skipping breakfast and relying on herbal tea could potentially lead to health complications such as ulcers, Flavour explained that his specially prepared herbal tea includes condiments that safeguard against such issues.
“My homemade herbal tea takes care of that; I add condiments that keep ulcers away,” he responded.
