Operatives of Adamawa Police Command have arrested 715 suspected criminals allegedly involved in violent crimes across the state in the past one year.
Mr Dankombo Morris, Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, made this known at a news conference on Thursday in Yola.
The police chief said the suspects were involved in armed robbery, kidnapping, raping and culpable homicide, among others.
Morris said that the command had during the period under review secured the conviction of 292 offenders.
“To this end, today’s press conference is so special in the sense that we want to showcase to the members of the public and the press our achievements and successes recorded for the period under my watch,” he said. (NAN) www.nannews.ng
