Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has addressed a controversial comment from a social media user regarding her role in the recently released movie ‘Thinline’.
The actress, who portrayed a ‘runs girl’ character in the film directed by Mercy Aigbe, caught the attention of an X (formerly Twitter) user, Damilola Made, who questioned her ability to play the role so convincingly.
“Abeg I get one very important question to ask @iamyvonnejegede. So you don do Ashawo before you start acting because tell me how you acted that ashawo role so perfectly?” Made tweeted.
In response, Yvonne shared her thoughts with a blend of humour. “I just woke up, picked up my phone, and this is what I saw. Immediately, I saw my name and saw ‘ashawo,’ sleep cleared from my eyes. I thought, ‘I don commit again.’ Thanks for the review. Thinline is an all-round beautiful story; make it a date,” she posted.
