Tinubu recalled Justice Argungu’s early career as a teacher in the old Sokoto Province, his call to the bar in 1965, and his rise to the Supreme Court in 1993.
Justice Argungu’s influence extended beyond Nigeria, including his role as a visiting justice of the Supreme Court of the Gambia, further cementing his legacy as a distinguished jurist.
President Tinubu offered prayers for the repose of Justice Argungu’s soul and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the government, and the people of Kebbi State.
