Reflecting on the inevitability of death, Shettima added: “Death is a destiny we all share. We are all from Allah, and this world is but a station where we await our final journey. Our deeds are the baggage we carry to meet Him.”

The Vice-President prayed for Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus and to bestow strength upon the bereaved family to endure these painful losses.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Shettima was accompanied by Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum; Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia; members of the National Assembly from Jigawa, and other senior government officials.
