Erling Haaland delivered a masterclass performance as Manchester City dismantled West Ham 4-1 in an exhilarating Premier League clash at the Etihad.

The Norwegian striker notched a brace, with his second goal coming from a stunning lob that left goalkeeper Alphonse Areola stranded.

The scoring opened in the 10th minute when Vladimir Coufal inadvertently turned the ball into his own net under pressure, giving City an early lead.

Haaland doubled the advantage in the 42nd minute, heading home a pinpoint cross from Savinho.

Phil Foden extended City’s dominance in the 58th minute, converting a well-placed pass from Kevin De Bruyne.

Haaland’s second goal in the 55th minute showcased his finesse as he chipped Areola to make it 3-0.

West Ham showed resilience, with Niclas Fullkrug pulling one back in the 71st minute after being set up by Tomas Soucek.

However, their efforts weren’t enough to contain Pep Guardiola’s relentless side.

The match saw a flurry of chances in the dying minutes, with Jack Grealish’s effort blocked on the line and De Bruyne’s strike saved.

Despite six minutes of added time, City’s defensive discipline ensured their comfortable win.
