Actor Hector David Jr., best known for his role in Power Rangers, has been sentenced to jail for assaulting an elderly man in Nampa, Idaho, in July 2024.
The actor, 180 days in prison, had 135 days of the sentence suspended after pleading guilty to misdemeanour battery.
The incident occurred in a parking lot when David was involved in a confrontation with an elderly man using a walker over a parking spot.
Judge Matthew B. Schelstrate handed down the sentence on Wednesday, also warning David that any violation of his behavioral record could result in serving more than the 45 days of custody remaining.
In addition to the jail sentence, David was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and serve two years of supervised probation.
The incident occurred last year when David shoved the elderly man to the ground after the dispute escalated. The actor then fled the scene in his truck, and an arrest warrant was issued for him shortly afterward. He was later charged with battery.
