Mohbad’s mother clashes with Yomi Fabiyi over ₦3M video allegations

A recent claim made by Nigerian actor Yomi Fabiyi has sparked controversy, with Mohbad’s mother intervening to condemn his remarks about her surviving son.

Fabiyi alleged that Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother, had approached him offering a controversial video in exchange for ₦3 million.

Fabiyi recounted that Adura sent him a direct message, offering a brief, three-second video of a violent argument between the late Mohbad and his wife.

Fabiyi claimed that he was asked to pay ₦3 million for the footage and sought further uncensored content, but the conversation ended abruptly.

The actor’s allegations were made during a World Press Conference centered around seeking justice for the late singer, who passed away on September 12, 2023.

The claims quickly gained backlash, and Mohbad’s mother interrupted the conference, denouncing Fabiyi for targeting her surviving son.

In response, Fabiyi reassured Mohbad’s mother that he remains committed to protecting Adura and securing justice for Mohbad.
