Markaz Arabic and Islamic Training Centre, Agege, Lagos, the popular Islamic institution established by the legendary Islamic scholar Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-Ilory, of blessed memory, churned out 1,372 graduates during its 2024 graduation ceremony.
The yearly academic event which was unavoidably postponed from 2022 witnessed the graduation of three sets with an unprecedented crowd of students, parents, family members and lovers of the prestigious institution of learning.

The two-day event commenced on Saturday 18 January 2025 and ended Sunday 2025.
The institute’s Mudeer (Spiritual and Administrative leader), Fadilatu Sheikh Mohammed Habeebullahi Al-Ilory, whose entry to the event on the first day electrified the gathering, oversaw the blessing and presentation of certificates to the graduates.
Millions of people around the world watched the event live on social media.

The Sheikh charged the graduates with protecting the integrity of their certificates and proving to be good ambassadors of the great institution and the Islamic religion.
He urged them to avoid things and behaviours not taught in Markaz, adding that they should constitute moral and spiritual blessings to society.
The breakdown of the graduates is here stated below:
Year 2022: I’daadi, 227; Thanawi (Taoji), 225, total is 452 graduates
Year 2023: I’daadi, 187; Thanawi (Taoji), 275, total is 462 graduates
Year 2024: I’daadi, 225; Thanawi (Taoji), 233, total is 458 graduates
The institute is already affiliated with the Univerity of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Dignitaries present at the event include eminent lecturers and Islamic scholars, among whom are Alhaji Basheer Kuranga, Fadilatu Sheikh AbdulHameed Bidmosy Yahaya Atunlushe and Fadilatu Sheikh Habeebullahi Akinwumi who moderated the event with assistance of Abdul-Azeez Adewolu (Al-Muhadith).
