Two men identified as Agbo Jeremiah and Sunday Ngbuta have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing installation wires and iron rods of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC in Ogunmakin,area of Obafemi Owode Local government of Ogun State.
Ogun Police Command announced the arrest of the two suspects in a press release by its spokesperson, CSP Omolola Odutola on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the two vandals arrested on January 20, 2025, following a tip-off information from a concerned citizen in Ogunmakin.
According to the statement, operatives from the Safer Highway patrol encountered the suspects while they were attempting to transport rolls of cable wires and iron rods,and the suspicious behavior of the suspects led to a thorough search of their vehicle, which revealed the stolen items.
