President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fuel tanker explosion that claimed multiple lives in Enugu State on Saturday.

The incident occurred along the Ugwu-Onyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, where a fuel tanker reportedly lost control and burst into flames, leading to the death of 10 people and many injuries.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Sunday, President Tinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Enugu State, as well as the families of the deceased and injured.

He prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives and a swift recovery for those undergoing medical treatment.
