Media personality Toke Makinwa has voiced her displeasure over the ongoing public drama surrounding the marriage of Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia and actress Annie Idibia.
Taking to Instagram, Toke expressed her frustration after 2Face admitted to personally posting a controversial divorce announcement, despite initially claiming his account had been hacked.
In response to the video shared by 2Face, Toke commented:
“This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on. If you think she’s alone, let me tell you here that you’ll have to fight all of us.”
On her Instagram story, Toke further criticized those who have chosen to remain neutral, stating:
“I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong, and as a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it’ll touch your daughter or any female in your family. No one is innocent, and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we would fight for her.”
The drama began when 2Face admitted to posting the controversial divorce announcement himself, a move that sparked backlash online.
Toke, who has been vocal about relationship issues, is no stranger to marital controversy. Her own marriage to Maje Ayida ended in 2015 after he impregnated his ex-girlfriend, leading to their union’s dissolution by a Lagos High Court on the grounds of adultery.
