Since its inception in 2021, Jadato Designs, led by Bosede Faith Afolabi-Ariyo, has steadily built a reputation as a fashion brand that merges creativity with purpose.
Guided by a passion for design that transcends age, culture, and conventional boundaries, Jadato Designs has positioned itself as a brand that empowers individuals and communities through style.
One of the brand’s early landmark initiatives, the “Most Fashionable Kid in Africa 2021” contest, exemplified this ethos. Organized collaboratively with Avia Luxury, the event aimed to celebrate African creativity and showcase the continent’s youngest fashion talents. Though the live runway was curtailed by COVID-19 restrictions, the online contest became a viral sensation, captivating audiences across Africa.
The initiative demonstrated Jadato Designs’ commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and nurturing talent from a young age, reinforcing that fashion is not limited to adults alone.
Jadato Designs’ reach has also extended to the international film industry. In 2024, Bosede Faith contributed as the wardrobe designer for the British film White and Black, currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Her work on the film earned a nomination at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMA), highlighting her ability to merge storytelling with costume design and bringing African creative sensibilities to a global audience.
Looking ahead, Jadato Designs is focused on intentional growth and meaningful collaborations. The brand is expanding its presence across Africa and Europe, partnering with creatives, organizations, and designers to tell richer stories through fashion.
A core priority is providing safe, empowering platforms for children in modeling, cultivating creativity, professionalism, and confidence from an early age. Jadato Designs is shaping the future of fashion with innovation, global visibility, and a commitment to cultural authenticity.
