President Donald Trump has announced the successful execution of precision military airstrikes targeting a senior ISIS attack planner and several of his recruits in Somalia.
The airstrikes, carried out early this morning, resulted in the destruction of terrorist hideouts, located in caves, and the death of multiple militants.
Trump, in an X post emphasized that no civilians were harmed in the operation.
He also highlighted the military’s long pursuit of this key ISIS figure, suggesting that the Biden administration had failed to act promptly.
Trump remarked, “We will find you, and we will kill you,” sending a stern warning to ISIS and any groups threatening the U.S. and its allies.
The operation comes as part of continued U.S. efforts to combat terrorism abroad.
Trump’s strong rhetoric and focus on swift military action have reignited debates on his approach to national security and counterterrorism strategy.
