The U.S. Department of State has announced the release of three hostages from Hamas captivity in Gaza, including American citizen Keith Siegel.
After more than 480 days of captivity, Siegel is finally reunited with his wife, Aviva, in a moment of relief and joy for their family.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed gratitude for Siegel’s safe return, underscoring the U.S. administration’s commitment to the safety and security of Americans worldwide.
Rubio further emphasized that President Trump has made it a priority to bring home all American hostages, noting the close cooperation between the U.S. and Israel in this endeavor.
“We are grateful that Keith will be with his wife once again, and we will continue working alongside Israel to bring all hostages home and strive for lasting peace in the region,” Rubio stated.
The U.S. government remains dedicated to securing the release of all remaining hostages, with ongoing efforts aimed at both humanitarian recovery and regional stability.
