Ikorodu City unveil teenage winger Oladimeji Dada in mid-season squad boost

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ikorodu City FC have confirmed the signing of highly rated teenage winger Oladimeji Kole Dada, as part of a major mid-season reinforcement aimed at bolstering the team’s attacking options for the remainder of the 2024/2025 campaign.

The 17-year-old, born on October 2, 2007, joins the ambitious Lagos-based outfit from Madiba FC, where he impressed with his pace, creativity, and attacking intelligence on the flanks. Before his time at Madiba FC, Dada honed his skills at Beyond Limit Football Academy, one of Nigeria’s leading youth development institutions. His performances at the grassroots level quickly earned him recognition as one of the most promising young wingers in the country.

Dada was among 12 new players unveiled by Ikorodu City FC in January as part of the club’s mid-season recruitment drive. The move reflects the team’s commitment to strengthening key positions as they continue their impressive run in what has been a competitive debut season in the NPFL.
