‘God, please save me from unwanted burden’ – Jumoke Odetola cries out

Nollywood actress Jumoke Odetola has poured out her heart in an emotional post on social media, lamenting the rise of clout-chasing and the lack of emotional intelligence in today’s society.

Taking to her Instagram page, the Yoruba actress expressed frustration over people who fail to draw the line in their quest for attention.

She noted that those who still possess common sense, emotional intelligence, social awareness, and self-awareness may not fully realize how blessed they are, as dealing with individuals lacking these qualities can be exhausting.

“You will be getting embarrassed on behalf of people who don’t even know or send you,” she wrote.

Calling out to God, Odetola pleaded for God’s intervention, asking to be freed from burdens that are not hers. She prayed for the strength to remain unbothered and not dwell on unnecessary embarrassment.
