Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has finally addressed swirling rumours about his alleged relationship with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
In a declaration on his Instagram page, the award-winning artiste confirmed his love for Natasha and expressed his desire to marry her.
In the video, 2Baba made it clear that Natasha had no involvement in the breakdown of his marriage with actress Annie Idibia. He insisted that he and Annie have a mutual understanding regarding their relationship.
“I said what I said. Everyone is going to be alright. Honourable Natasha is a young and brilliant woman, and she has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. Yes, I love her. I want to marry her,” the singer stated.
Addressing speculations, 2Baba acknowledged the widespread rumors about his newfound romance but remained unbothered, encouraging people to continue their discussions while standing by his truth.
He also took the opportunity to promote his upcoming music project, announcing the release of the video for Kukugoogleam on Friday. In a bid to engage his fans, he launched a dance challenge, offering ₦1 million to the top five most creative participants. Popular dancers Poco Lee, Don Flexx, and music executive Larry Gaaga will serve as judges for the competition.
“Make sure you use #kukugoogleamdancechallenge and tag myself and all the judges,” he instructed.
