Thugs attack Sowore in Lagos

Thugs attacked human rights activist,  Omoyele Sowore and his team, on Saturday morning  at the  Lagos City Marathon.

The thugs were also said to have attacked some journalists covering the event.

Some of the journalists’ cameras and other gadgets were said to have been damaged by the thugs.

A camera wielding journalist, it was learnt, was grabbed by his neck by one of the thugs.

Sowore was also the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 presidential election.
