Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has broken his silence after being accused by a production manager of abandoning a movie set before completing his scenes.

Taking to his Instagram page, Salami shared his side of the story, explaining that veteran actor Lekan Olatunji had invited him to feature in a movie initially scheduled to be shot over two days.

However, he revealed that the production was rescheduled four times for undisclosed reasons.

Despite the delays, Salami said he still honored the invitation, arriving on set in Abeokuta at 2:30 p.m., albeit late due to car trouble. He added that he had already made it clear that he would not be staying overnight on set.

The actor further explained that he had an important appointment in Lagos the following day but was forced to leave the set after experiencing additional delays from the movie crew.

Salami expressed disappointment over the production manager’s public accusation, saying he was being unfairly portrayed. He also criticized the decision to post his business phone number online, leading to unwarranted calls and backlash.

In his statement, Salami maintained that his integrity was important and urged people to get the full picture before forming opinions. He ended his message by encouraging his followers to subscribe to his YouTube channel, TheSalamis TV.

“Whether you find me guilty or not, please kindly subscribe,” he concluded.
