The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has unleashed a devastating assault on notorious bandits in Zamfara, obliterating their hideouts in a series of precision airstrikes on the eastern part of Shinkafi Local Government Area.

The operation, which specifically targeted the stronghold of feared bandit leader Kachallah Haru, left scores of criminals neutralized and their camps reduced to rubble.

Intelligence sources  told Zagazola Makama that the air raids struck Katsira Forest, a well-known haven for armed gangs, before extending into Fakai Forest, another deadly hideout used by criminal factions terrorizing local communities.

The bombardment not only wiped out Haru’s hideouts but also destroyed the bandits’ logistics and livestock, dealing a severe blow to their operations.

Ground security forces confirmed that multiple bandits were eliminated, while others fled in disarray. A senior military official revealed that surveillance operations are still underway to track and neutralize any escaping fighters.

The Nigerian Armed Forces have reiterated their commitment to eradicating terrorist and bandit networks, vowing that the offensive will not relent until peace and security are fully restored in the region.
