‘Handle your business responsibly, ‘ AY Makun advises colleagues

Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has shared a thought-provoking message with his colleagues, advising them on how to manage their affairs.

Taking to Instagram, the renowned entertainer emphasized the importance of protecting one’s interests while cautioning against allowing insecurities to dictate actions toward others.

He noted that frustrations should not be taken out on those unaware of one’s struggles, as doing so reflects personal weakness.

“It’s always good to protect what is ours. But sometimes, we are caught up in our own insecurities without seeing or minding what we say or do to others. Every time we lash out our frustrations at others who are clueless about our true situations, it shows how weak we are. HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS responsibly,” AY wrote.

Earlier this year, AY addressed misconceptions surrounding his personality, revealing that many people form opinions based on surface-level observations. In a heartfelt note, the comedian explained how grace has helped him overcome challenges with resilience.

He has also been vocal about the negative effects of social media, likening it to a modern-day “King Kong” where emotional reactions often outweigh objective facts. According to him, a foolish person may receive praise for saying what the audience wants to hear, while a wise person faces criticism for speaking uncomfortable truths.
