Afghanistan has exported fresh fruits worth more than 143 million U.S. dollars over the past 11 months, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Sunday.
The ministry’s spokesman Akundzada Abdul Salam Jawad said over the past 11 months, about 296,000 tons of fresh fruits, worth over 143 million dollars, were exported.
Jawad posted the information on his social media account on Sunday.
He added that the products were mostly exported to Pakistan, India, the United Arab Emirates, China, Britain, the Netherlands and the United States (U.S.)
Others are France, Australia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
According to Jawad’s statement in February, Afghanistan exported 115,000 tons of dried fruits valued at 350 million dollars in 10 months.
