Kano Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has described the death of Abdullatif Abdussalam, his Special Adviser on Yoruba Community Affairs, as an irreparable loss, not just to his immediate family, but to the entire people of Kano State and Nigeria.
Yusuf said this during a condolence visit to the Jaba community in Ungogo Local Government Area where the late Abdullatif lived with his family
Yusuf, who led a high-powered government delegation commiserated with the bereaved family as well as his friends, and associates, according to a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Monday night.
The Governor extolled the late Adviser’s dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment to fostering unity and development in the state.
He acknowledged his significant contributions to strengthening inter-community relations and advancing the interests of the Yoruba community in Kano.
Governor Yusuf prayed for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul and urged the family to find solace in the impactful legacy he left behind.
