Baba Tee dares Ijoba Lande to provide proof of alleged affair with ex-wife

Nollywood actor Babatunde Bernard, popularly known as Baba Tee, has challenged content creator Ijoba Lande to provide evidence of his alleged affair with Lande’s estranged wife, Dara.

Baba Tee’s reaction follows Lande’s recent claim that his wife had been involved with him and 20 other entertainers before their separation in January 2025.

In a viral video shared on his Instagram page, Lande accused his manager, Mary Gold—who was also Dara’s best friend—of introducing his wife to Baba Tee despite knowing she was married. He alleged that Dara left their marriage after he uncovered her supposed infidelity.

Responding to the allegations, Mary Gold stated that Dara had insulted Baba Tee by calling him impotent, which allegedly led to the affair.

However, Baba Tee has firmly denied any involvement with Lande’s wife, stating that he had never met or spoken to her before mid-2024.

“I have never met or spoken to Lande’s wife in my life. I didn’t even know what she looked like until Mary Gold introduced her to me as a content creator and up-and-coming artiste,” Baba Tee said in a video posted on his Instagram page.

He narrated that Mary Gold had visited his house under the pretense of discussing an MC job and had unexpectedly brought along Dara. He recalled overhearing a conversation in which Mary Gold suggested that he was already aware of something, prompting him to question what she meant.

“I had to barge in and ask, ‘What does Baba Tee know?’ It took a while before she confessed that the lady was Lande’s wife. And I asked, ‘Why didn’t you introduce her as Lande’s wife?’”

The Nollywood actor expressed shock at the accusations, stating that he had only met Lande once in his life. He then challenged the content creator to present proof of his claims.

“Lande, I am putting this to you—present evidence for the allegations you have made against me. Show proof to the world that I slept with your wife,” Baba Tee declared.
