Spyro reacts to rumours of fathering BBNaija Nengi’s child

Fast-rising Nigerian singer Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has responded to speculations linking him to the paternity of reality star Nengi’s newborn child.

Over the weekend, social media was abuzz after Nengi announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl. In a heartwarming video from her hospital bed, she described her daughter’s birth as the “purest form of love.”

Spyro was among those who congratulated her, sharing a clip of the reality star and remarking that “the Angels are definitely singing congratulations on this one.” However, his post sparked curiosity among fans, leading many to flood his comment section with questions about whether he was the baby’s father.

Addressing the rumors via his Instagram story, the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner dismissed the speculations and criticized Nigerians for their mindset. He remarked that ignorance is why “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”

“Nigerians, very ignorant set. That is exactly why the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. But then again, what do I even know? Congratulations again, my Nengs,” he wrote.
