The Rivers State House of Assembly has leveled serious allegations against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu, accusing them of gross misconduct.
In a formal letter submitted to Speaker Martin Amaewhule, 26 members of the House outlined their concerns.
The lawmakers charged Governor Fubara with reckless and unconstitutional spending of public funds, interfering with the legislative process, and making unauthorized appointments to key government positions without proper screening and confirmation.
