Kogi: Vigilante operatives handover suspected cattle rustlers to police

Two suspected cattle rustlers, Suleiman Isah and Sumaila have been arrested by the men of the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS) and handed over to the police for further interrogation in East senatorial district of Kogi state.

The service’s spokesperson, S. O. Saka disclosed this in a statement.

He said the first suspect Suleiman Isah, was apprehended on Sunday at the Dekina-Omala border, Ikpoba in Omala LGA.

According to the statement, upon interrogation, the suspect identified his alleged accomplice and boss, Sumaila, who resides in Anyigba.

Acting on this intelligence, operatives of the service in Anyigba Command, swiftly arrested Sumaila.

Both suspects, along with the recovered exhibits, have been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Omala Division, for further investigation and necessary legal actions.

Kogi State Vigilante Service appreciated the cooperation of the local community and reaffirmed their commitment to tackling crime in the state.
