A stunning prophecy by Prophet I.O. Samuel has surfaced in a viral video, foretelling the suspension of Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.

On March 9, 2025, during a live Sunday service at Shiloh Word Chapel, Prophet Samuel warned of an impending storm facing the governor, urging him to seek divine guidance.

The prophecy has gained significant attention due to its accuracy, with many discussing its relevance to the current political turmoil in Rivers State. Recently, President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in the state, suspending Governor Fubara, his deputy, and members of the State House of Assembly for six months.

In the viral video, Prophet Samuel stated, “A great storm, larger than him, is coming. I see a setup, a cloud of uncertainty hovering over him and Rivers State. A significant force will prevent him from continuing as governor.”

His words, initially seeming metaphorical, have now resonated with many as the unfolding crisis aligns closely with his predictions.

Prophet Samuel’s reputation as a spiritual leader known for his fervent prayers and intercessions for Nigeria has been further cemented by the rapid fulfillment of his prophecy. His supporters believe that had Governor Fubara heeded the call to prayer and divine guidance, the crisis in Rivers State might have been averted.

The Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, has clarified that the President’s decision to declare a state of emergency was justified due to the governor’s actions, which led to a breakdown in governance and security in the state.
