In a powerful tribute to resilience and achievement, the U.S. Mission in Nigeria has celebrated Brigadier General Amanda Azubuike, a Nigerian-born military officer who has risen through the ranks of the United States Army, as part of its Women’s History Month recognitions.

Taking to social media, the U.S. Mission highlighted her inspiring journey, which began in Nigeria and led to an illustrious military career in the U.S., where she has served in critical roles, including as a UH-1 helicopter pilot, platoon leader, deputy commanding officer, and senior military advisor at the Pentagon.
