Nollywood veteran and fiery preacher, Eucharia Anunobi, has once again delivered a thought-provoking message, calling out those who shower praises on the dead but fail to show love and care while people are alive.
Taking to her Instagram, the actress-turned-evangelist dropped a powerful sermon on the fleeting nature of material possessions, urging people to prioritise kindness over extravagance.
“Whether it is gold or costume jewellery. Whether it is human hair or synthetic. Whether it is a Rolls-Royce or a Nissan. Whatever it is… All is vanity,” she wrote, referencing Ecclesiastes 2.
In a scathing rebuke, Anunobi warned against empty gestures when loved ones pass away.
“So stop being a sounding cymbal when people you could have done better for, given more to while they were living, die!” she declared.
The post, which quickly went viral, resonated with many, with fans flooding the comment section in agreement.
Anunobi also prophesied that 2025 will be a “year of multiple harvest,” encouraging her followers to embrace a life of true impact rather than chasing superficial wealth.
Her message serves as a wake-up call in an era where grand funerals often overshadow genuine acts of kindness.
