Forty historical monuments and facilities that were at risk of destruction have been restored in Afghanistan over the past three years.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Afghan interim government, Khabib Ghufran, disclosed this.
Ghufran told Xinhua news agency that the historical monuments were restored in seven provinces.

According to a report by the ministry, about 8,200 foreigners visited the country’s historical monuments in 2024.
