Prince Isa Abiodun Shekoni Faronbi has been officially confirmed as the new Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos State, bringing an end to the kingship dispute that arose after the passing of the previous ruler, Oba Kabiru Alani Agbabiaka Adeola Olusi III, on April 10, 2024.

Faronbi’s emergence was solidified when he received his staff of office and certificate of nomination at the State’s Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs on Friday, March 28, 2025.
As the new Osolo, he hails from the Akinlagun Branch of the Alagbeji Ruling house.
His installation ceremony is set to take place at Isolo Kingdom on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
